Standard Terms and Conditions for Wedding Car Hire

I, Peter James Hole, trading as Curbridge Carriage Company, hereby undertake to provide (subject to nothing that could reasonably be considered as being beyond my control) my Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit, index number A5 DER, in accordance with the previously agreed arrangements asset out in the form entitled 'Arrangements' and signed by the hirer, subject to the following terms and conditions.

by affixing my signature in the space provided, do hereby accept the below-mentioned Standard Terms and Conditions for Wedding Car Hire.
1] Payment Terms: A non-refundable booking fee of £60 is payable on reservation with the balance of £ becoming payable
one calendar month prior to the date of the wedding.
2] Unlikely Events: The vehicle is properly maintained by a fully qualified Rolls-Royce and Bentley technician. However, in the unlikely event that it 'fails to proceed', my liability will be limited to refunding the hire fee in full and to making reasonable enquiries (where possible) to obtain a replacement vehicle of similar quality, from another owner. Payment for any replacement vehicle will be the sole responsibility of the hirer, as will all of the arrangements which are necessary. It is understood that I cannot be held responsible for any delays or consequential losses which occur and are beyond my control.
3] General Conditions: No responsibility will be accepted for any loss or damage to personal possessions which are left in the vehicle, although all reasonable care will be exercised. It is against the law to smoke in the vehicle and, passengers who are in an inebriated state will not be carried. Care must be taken not to allow coloured confetti to enter the interior of the vehicle, especially if the weather is inclement and the colour can dye the Connolly leather hide upholstery and the lambswool over rugs.
4] Acceptance: The signing of this document means that you have entered into a legally-binding agreement and if there is any part of the content which you feel required further explanation, please do not hesitate to contact me.
5] Statutory Rights: Nothing contained herein can affect your statutory rights under Common Law.
